YUMA ARIZONA GUIDED DOVE HUNTS

 We provide guided dove hunts in Yuma, Arizona. Hunters can expect to fill their daily bag limit in one morning or evening hunting session. Therefore, the flat rate per hunter is $321.93. However, if you do not meet your daily bag limit you can extend your hunt by one morning or evening hunt by $250. Morning hunts go from sunrise until 9 am. We break until 4 pm and hunt until sunset. These times keep hunters in the field during prime hunting hours and mitigate heat exhaustion. Expect high heat temperatures and hydrate days before the hunt. 

     The early-season dove hunt runs from September 1st through September 14th, this season allows hunters to take both white wing doves and mourning doves. The late-season dove hunt runs from November 17th through December 31st, and only allows hunters to take mourning doves. The early season dove hunt is when the majority of the dove is flying through Yuma, Arizona. These birds are bred and born in Yuma, Arizona before making their migration to Mexico. Arizona white-wing doves migrate to the west coast of Sonora, Mexico. In the late-season dove hunt, the majority of birds flying are mourning doves, which migrate down here from the Great Basin just north of us.   

     As an outfitter, it is our goal to teach proper hunting techniques and tactics. You will not only leave with some dove but you will also have gained hunting knowledge and experience. Harvest is never guaranteed but we can confidently say the opportunity will be there.

1. Hunting Vest (not required but highly suggested)
2. Florescent orange clothing (not required but highly suggested)
3. Food and water (hydrate days before the hunt)
4. Early Season clothing long sleeve lightweight shirts and lightweight pants. Ankle-height shoes, hat, sunscreen, ear, and eye protection. The late season is similar just bring a jacket or hoodie.    
5. Shotgun and ammo. 3 rounds maximum in a tubular magazine. Guns and ammo can be provided for an additional fee of $150 per hunter. I recommend bringing 100 shotgun shells for inexperienced hunters, and 75 shells for experienced hunters per session. Lead shot is legal for doves.
